To apply successful methods of growth for social media used by platinum producers in the industry.
For my final learning outcome i wanted to apply methods of growth across my social media how other successful platinum producers do. CashMoneyAP, Murda Beatz and Taz Taylor all do this successfully keeping the balance of showing off their lavish lifestyle to still promoting their brand. I showed a screen shot before on CashMoneyAP’s Instagram here is Murda Beatz and Taz Taylor.
Judging by both of their Instagrams although they are both at different levels they still post in the same way to gain attention. Throughout my own Instagram now i have started posting similar posts with clips of music or pictures of the studio using specific hashtags such as:
#producer #grind #project#producerlife #producers #logicprox #imac#mac #flstudio #liluzivert #lilskies#typebeat #beatsforsale #success#yamahahs7 #studio #homestudio #work#audioproduction #yungbans
These are some of the usual hashtags i use that i have seen other producers use. I have continued using these tags and will continue doing so to ensure i keep growing to gain as many followers as possible. Here is an example of my page now.
As you can see from my page i am starting to head in the same direction as these successful producers via social media with similar posts creating that aesthetic. Currently i need to start gaining more followers but that will come once i am posting more frequent with posts such as: more type beats similar to the Post Malone and Lil Peep ones already of my page. This is great for social media especially YouTube because artist type beats are so popular right now. Although CashMoneyAP produces some of the biggest artists in Hip-Hop at the moment he still uploads free type beats to YouTube why?
Because it gets you views and more followers in which he could sell more music to creating more business for himself.
Here is CashMoneyAP’s YouTube channel which shows how often he posts; almost daily getting over 20k views in a day. The more of these he does the more work that will come his way and that is the route i am wanting to take from learning about how these producers not only produce music but, how they market them selves.
One thing i noticed about these producers is they all have a logo, an identity in which you could say “yeah thats that producer”. For myself i obviously have my tag on all of my songs my ident “Icey” but i also wanting an image that i could use for now as a logo. I chose to use an anime style font with some ice capped mountains to give that modern Trap vibe to the look, here is the first design:
